Maintenance Continued
Trouble Shooting:
To assist with maintenance, repair, or use of the snowblower, the following list of common problems and
corrections is provided:
Problems: Possible
Cause: Solution:
Auger Will Shear Bolts Broken Check and replace any shear bolts located on the auger drive
Not Turn sprocket, cross shaft drive sprocket (see illustration of parts in
section 4).
Auger Chain Broken Replace drive chain (see illustrations of parts in section 4).
Gearbox Not Turning Verify motor shaft is rotating.
Inspect chain coupler for engagement.
Gearbox Malfunction Repair or replace complete unit.
Motor Malfunction Repair or replace complete unit.
Hydraulic Hose Check to make sure they are connected into the correct outlet
Connection ports on the spool valve.
Spout Will Frozen Snow Snow or ice has become compacted on spout rotator gear,
Not Rotate remove as required and clean after each use to avoid freezing.
Gear Alignment Spout rotator gear and drive sprocket have become misaligned.
Realign per instructions given in page 2-1 in section 2.
Hydraulic Hose Check to make sure they are connected into the correct outlet
Connections ports on the spool valve.
Snow Not
Compacted with Snow Disengage hydraulic controls (release all hydraulic pressure),
