Operation on a PABX
The line access number (LAN) must be pre-dialled to dial into the
public telephone network on PABX’s. Some systems also demand a
pause between the LAN and the phone number. The telephone
inserts this pause (of 2 seconds) automatically if the LAN has been
programmed.
The LAN may consist of 4 digits .
It is not generally possible to call an internal partner with call
preparation when time control for network providers is activated
(section 4.4 "
