6.1 Changing the BASE PIN

Important functions and settings of the base station are protected
by the Base PIN (Personal Identity Number) if you have entered your
own PIN.

Notes:

The four-digit base PIN is set to

0000

at the factory.

The base PIN is only asked for if you have entered a PIN differ-
ent to

0000

→

For the sake of simplicity the PIN request is no longer de-
scribed here for most of the setting procedures.
