Dispensing
5
Refer to the operating instructions of the control unit used for all necessary steps. Turn to Chapter 5
“Dispensing”. Follow the instructions found there.
☞
In these operating instructions, only a special adjustment possibility of the Pinch Valve is explained,
the limiting of the cylinder stroke.
At the factory, the cylinder piston is set for the longest possible stroke. During dispensing, it releases
the product feedline completely. With this setting, the required dispensed quantity is achieved for
nearly all applications. In a few special cases, the dispensed quantity can still be too large, however.
The stroke must therefore be reduced. This is done by screwing the hexagon socket set screw
8
in or
out of the actuator assembly

5.1
Adjusting of Very Small Dispensed Quantities
• Set a dispensing time of 0.2 s, a reservoir pressure of 0.2 bar and continuous mode on the control
unit (see the operating instructions of the control unit used).
• Stick the smallest dispensing needle
14
firmly onto the plastic cone
13
.
• Press the dispensing start and hold.
• On the Pinch Valve, loosen the hex-nut
9
and
screw in the hexagon socket set screw
8
to the
stop:
Piston stroke = 0 (no product).
• Release the dispensing start and switch over to
time controlled operation.
• Screw out the hexagon socket set screw
8
in
90° steps and, between each step, activate a
dispensing process until the dispensed quantity
is nearly reached.
• Then fine-adjust the desired dispensing quantity
by adjusting the dispensing time.
• Secure the hexagon socket set screw
8
with the
hex-nut
