Global Gage Configurations
The blue section at the top of the Edit Gauges window allows the user to configure the global settings of
the G-WHIZ.
Gauge Model
,
Gauge Label
, and
WG ID
cannot be changed.
Force (m/e)
Allows the user to choose between seeing Force/Work results in Newtons or Lbf.
Velocity (m/e)
Allows the user to choose between seeing Velocity results in meters per second (mps) or feet per
second (fps).
Parameters
Allows the user to choose between the measurement algorithms for Velocity, Force, or Work.
Time Out (min)
Amount of time a G-WHIZ gauge can be left unattended in set-up mode before automatically exiting
setup. This is done to preserve battery life.
Description Text
Determines if the door text will be sent with the measurement and gage ID. This must be turned off
for use with the ASI Datamyte Wireless DM600 data collector.
Send and Display
Send determines what result is sent to UGI and Display determines what result(s) will be displayed
on the G-WHIZ.
