SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
•
Read the instructions before use and keep the manual in a safe place for later use.
•
The water heater is designed for vertical use and must be installed according to instructions.
•
Before connecting the water heater, make sure that the location is also suitable for the water
heater. Pay attention, for example, to the cabinet height.
•
If the place in the wall where the water outlet is proves to be unsuitable, contact a plumber.
•
Check whether the mains voltage matches with the information on the rating plate of the machine.
•
In order to avoid overloading the circuit, do not operate any other device on the same circuit as
the water heater.
•
The water heater must be grounded, that means it must be connected to a ground line and
connected to the grounding of the power grid.
•
First, check the water supply before you connect the water heater to the circuit in order to avoid a
short circuit.
•
Never force the plug into the socket.
•
Do not use telescope cords or outlets with inadequate current carrying capacity.
•
Do not use a damaged cord or plug.
•
If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized service centre only.
•
To safely remove the plug, grasp the plug and pull it gently out of the socket. Do not pull the
cable.
•
Ensure that children do not have access to the power cord while it is in operation.
•
Do not pull the cable or carry it, do not use the cord as a handle, do not close the door on the
cable or pull the cable around sharp corners or edges. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
•
Do not touch the plug with wet hands or operate without shoes.
•
Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer with the water heater .
•
Using accessories that are not supplied or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock
or injury.
•
Do not use the water heater if it or any of its accessories are damaged.
•
If the water heater is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged, it must be sent back to
the manufacturer or an authorized repair shop in order to avoid hazards.
•
Do not use the water heater if you notice water outlet is in an unusual place and contact a
qualified technician.
•
To ensure a constant water flow, the sieve and filter must be cleaned regularly.
•
The cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children.
•
If the water is frozen in the water heater, no power supply can take place.
•
The device must not be placed in an icy environment.
•
Do not touch the hot surfaces.
•
Only use the device for its intended use.
COMMISSIONING
Check where the individual pipes run and turn off the water supply before the assembly of the water heater.
1. Take the water heater from the packaging and remove the protective caps from both ends of the
device.
2. Check the position of the securing nut (A) as well as the rubber ring (B) and safety ring (C) on
the provided tap before you connect it to the water heater and screw it down
(Illustration 1+2).
Make sure that the safety ring is not damaged. Afterwards screw the lock nut from the tap tight
onto the water heater.
3. Make sure that the seal ring with the crown upwards is in the fitting for the intake and screw this
together with the water heater
(Illustration 2).
4. Slide the supplied rubber washer onto the connector for the inlet and fix the water heater on your
sink
(Illustration 2).
