Charging LiveU Solo HDMI
• LiveU Solo HDMI contains an internal battery that
enables a minimum of
two hours
of standalone
operation when fully charged. LiveU recommend
charging the battery for at least
4 hours
before first
using LiveU Solo HDMI.
• There are 3 methods to charge the battery via
the
DC IN
connector on the side of LiveU Solo
HDMI.
◦ Use the supplied 12 V AC Power Adapter.
◦ Use the optional RLACS300 dual supply cable
to power LiveU Solo HDMI from two different
power sources such as a battery pack or the
car's own power supply, meaning the LiveU
stays on and stays charged after the vehicle
ignition is switched off.
◦ Use the optional RLCAB010D cigar plug power
supply.
◦ More information on these accessories are
available
.
• While charging, the LED near the DC connector will
be
red
.
When the battery is fully charged, this LED
will turn
green
.
• The battery charges even when the unit is turned
on.
• It is good practice to keep the unit plugged into a
power outlet when it is not in use, ensuring it is
charged and ready for operation at a moment’s
notice.
• The battery status is displayed on the LCD display
screen and also within the Solo Web Portal when
