MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
WARNING
WARNING:
Before working on the pump or switch, unplug the
pump power cord, in addition to removing the fuse or shutting off
the circuit breaker.
If the pump does not operate properly, consult the Troubleshooting
table. If the trouble still cannot be found, consult your pump dealer
or take the pump to a Little Giant authorized service center.
CAUTION:
DO NOT remove the socket head cap screws (item
#3, Figure 3). The motor section of your pump is permanently
lubricated with dielectric oil and is sealed at the factory. Removal
of these screws by anyone other than an authorized Little Giant
service center will break the seal and void the warranty.
1. Remove the 4 screws (item #18, Figure 3) that hold the
volute to the motor housing, then separate the volute from the
housing
2. Clean the impeller and volute passage.
3. Be sure impeller turns freely.
4. Attach the volute to the housing and secure it with the 4
screws.
