8. Canopy Assembly.
Partially insert a screw into the mounting bracket
in 2 of the 4 holes on either side of the hanging
bracket as shown in the diagram--one on the left,
in the hole towards the front, and one on the
right, in the hole towards the back. Raise canopy
to the hanging bracket and line key slot holes up
with loosened screws. Twist to lock. Insert
remaining screws and secure all screws with
Phillips screwdriver.

7. Wiring.
Important
:
Be sure outlet box is properly grounded
or that a ground (
GREEN
or Bare) wire is present.
Make sure all electrical connections comply with
Local Codes or Ordinances and the National
Electrical Code. If you are unfamiliar with electrical
wiring, please use a qualified electrician.
When fan is secured in place on the hanging
bracket, electrical wiring can be
made (
diagram 1).
Connect
BLACK

wire from fan to

wire from ceiling with wire nut.
Connect
WHITE
wire from fan to
WHITE
wire
from ceiling with wire nut.
Connect all
GROUND
(
GREEN
) wires together
from fan to
BARE/GREEN
wire from ceiling with
wire nut.
¹ If you intend to control the fan light (not
included) with a separate light switch, connect
BLUE
wire from fan to the
BLACK
supply from
the independent switch.
* Wrap all wire nuts with electrical tape as an
extra measure for safety.
This fan is remote control adaptable.
