If you do NOT wish to use the fan with the light kit
, locate
cap (W) in hardware pack. Remove the hex nut and lock washer from
the threaded rod on the light kit fitter (D). Locate
BLUE
and
WHITE
wires in switch housing labeled FOR LIGHT. Disconnect the molex that
connects the
BLUE
wire to the
BLACK
wire and the
WHITE
wire to the
other
WHITE
wire. Gently feed wires through the hole in the middle of
the switch housing (as shown in Fig. 5B), and then remove switch
housing. Insert cap (W) into hole in the middle of the switch housing.
Connect male plug from motor housing (E) to female plug from the
switch housing. Make sure the plugs connect securely. Align holes on
the top edge of the switch housing with holes on fitter plate and secure
switch housing with screws previously removed. [Fig. 5B]

8.
Install three 40 watt max. candelabra base bulbs (not included);
size CA8 is recommended. [Fig. 8]
Important:
When replacing bulbs, allow bulb(s) and glass shade (I)
to cool before touching them.
9.
Align hole in middle of glass shade (I) with threaded rod on light kit
fitter (D), allowing other pull chain to come through hole on the side,
and push up gently on glass shade (I) until threaded rod comes
through hole. Screw shade screw (T) onto threaded rod until raised
part in center of shade screw (T) fits snugly into hole in glass shade
(I). Align pull chains with corresponding holes in shade plate (U), and
then push up on shade plate (U), allowing threaded rod to come
through hole in middle of shade plate (U). Thread center pull chain
through hole in finial (V). Tighten finial (V) to secure glass shade (I) to
light kit fitter (D). [Fig. 9]
Note:
Do not overtighten finial as glass may crack or break.
10.
Pull chain extensions (S) supplied in one of the hardware packs
or custom pull chain extensions may be attached to fan and light pull
chains. [Fig. 10]
NOTE:
This fan is remote control adaptable (remote control not
included.)
