Troubleshooting table
Danger!
Pull the power plug before any maintenance or repair work and turn off the drive motor. Measures
must be taken, so that an accidental start-up by others is not possible. Maintenance and service works
may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Error
Cause
Remedy
The Waste Water Suction is not
suctioning, or suctioning poorly
Air is aspirated
Check the connection between the pump and pipes for leak-tightness.
Aspiration line in poor
condition
This is valid above all for hoses which are clamped or show interior
stripping. Only use sheathed hoses which are resistant to under-
pressures.
Blockages Clean
the
aspiration lines.
Ensure that the filter or the pump basket are not blocked.
Pressure lost during suction
Reduce the aspiration height or check the line flow
Long pump standstill
Remove the hose from the pump for a longer standstill
The aspiration point is too
low
Place the waste water suction closer
The waste water suction
suctions but does not remove
material
Hose in the hose pump is
damaged
Exchange the hoses in the hose pump
Pipelines plugged Clean
pipelines
Pressure too high: Feed side
pipes are unsuitable
The diameter must be at least as large as the pump output opening
The feed circuit loses too
much pressure
Check the set up. Avoid angle brackets with right angles and T-shaped
connections. Note maximum hose lengths.
