Adding Your Reefer to a Train
5. Press ADD to add a second member to the Train
6. Enter the TMCC ID of the freight car.
7. Press SET and wait for the Ready To Run message.
To move your locomotive, select the Train by its ID number and use the throttle, boost, and brake to
run it. Apply your CAB2 Train brake and hear the brakes operating on your VISION Reefer. For more
prototypical action, stopping with the train brake applied (in any amount) will keep your freight
consist stretched-out and prevents stress on the coupler when starting. Your train simulates this effect.
If you stop without using Train Brake, you’ll hear the impact of your freight car hitting the coupler in
front of it. And when you move the next time, you’ll hear another impact sound as the coupler slack
is taken up.
