Replacing the lamps

our accessory is illuminated by several lamps and LEDs. During the course of normal
operations, you may find that the lamps require replacement. The LEDs are expected to last
for the life of the accessory.
Overhead fuse-style lamps
Use a small flat screwdriver and a pair of pliers to replace the fuse-style lamps (Lionel part
no. 610-4170-300) that illuminate the platform. Refer to Figure 6.
1. Carefully position the end of a small flat screwdriver between one of the metal ends of the
lamp and the housing.
2. Gently pry the lamp out of the prongs.
Pry the lamp out of the socket against a metal end only. Prying against the glass
tube could cause the tube to shatter.
3. Use a pair of pliers to gently press the prongs together.
4. Carefully press the replacement lamp into the prongs.
