Tip: Tip: Ironing without an ironing board. When you travel, you often do not have easy
access to an ironing board. At such moments you can put a towel on a flat solid surface. Make
sure that the surface on which you want to iron is heat and moisture resistant. Do not use
plastic or glass surfaces.
WATER FILLING
Remove the plug from the socket. Remove the cover of the filler. Fill the tank with water
using the supplied cup. Close the fill opening with the cover. Turn the temperature dial
clockwise until the desired temperature. The indicator light goes on. When the desired
temperature is reached, the light goes out. When using the first time, do a trial run by ironing
an old towel.
STEAM IRON
1.
Connect the plug to the socket.
2.
Turn the temperature dial clockwise until the display with three little balls points.
3.
The indicator light will light up to indicate that the iron is on. When the desired
temperature is reached, the indicator light goes out.
4.
Turn the steam control dial to ‘steam’.
5.
In the beginning you need to press it several times in order to start the steam function.
VERTICAL STEAM BLAST
This feature removes creases from delicate fabrics such as curtains that are hang up, or other
materials that are hung. Hold the iron a few centimetres away from the material. You may
need to press the steam button a few times before you can steam iron.
DRY IRONING
Connect the plug to the socket. Turn the temperature dial clockwise, select 1, 2 or 3 balls.
The indicator light will light up to indicate that the iron is on. When the desired temperature
is reached, the indicator light goes out. The iron can now be used.
REMOVE WATER
Remove the plug from the socket. Set the temperature selection dial to the “min” position
and set the steam control dial to ‘steam’ position. Press on the steam blast button in order to
remove any remaining steam. Hold the iron upside down and shake carefully back and forth
in order to remove any remaining water from the tank.
CLEANING
Remove the plug from the socket. Use a damp cloth or a mild detergent to remove dirt from
the bottom of the iron. Never use sharp or abrasive objects
to remove dirt from the bottom.
SYSTEM VOLTAGE
This iron has been fitted with a button so that you can select
the voltage. Depending on the country you are in, you can
adjust the voltage to 120V or 230V so that you can use the
iron anywhere.
