3.5 APC Output Connections 

When making brass fitting connections, use two opposing wrenches and only tighten 

enough to make a gas seal. The fittings are subject to damage if over tightened. 

Water Shield Hose (BK300378) 

  [For retrofits only; otherwise skip to Step 2] 

Disconnect Shield Hose       from bushing       

on the output side of the Gas Controller. 

This connection is labelled with the symbol:  

  While holding bulkhead connector      with a 

wrench to prevent it from turning, remove 

bushing      from      on the output side of 

the Gas Controller.  This connection is 

labelled with the symbol:  
 
 

  While holding bulkhead connector      with a 

wrench to prevent it from turning, install 

provided Tee Fitting       (BK715119) into     . 

  While holding bulkhead connector      with a 

wrench to prevent it from turning, install  

bushing      into Tee Fitting      where shown.  

Install provided bushing      (BK715149) into
