4.3.3 Prepare to Cut or Mark
Press the
Material
button and then select the
Material Type

Thickness
, and
Process
. The Plasma Console App uses those selections to automatically set the
Current (Amps), Gas Types, and Pressures.
Select the Material Type
Press the
Material Type
button and
then select the material to be
processed.
Select the Material Thickness
Press the
Thickness
button and
then select the thickness of the
material to be processed. Or, press
the data entry button ( ) to
manually enter the material’s
thickness.
Select the Process
Press to select the desired process.
The selected process will be red.
Cut ( )
– cuts completely through
the thickness of the metal.
Mark ( )
– creates a noticeable
mark in the surface without cutting
all the way through the metal.
Grid Mode ( )
–cuts a non-
continuous workpiece, like
expanded metal.
