Old batteries are to be returned to authorized Liko
personnel, or left at the nearest recycling station.
Adjustable Friction Brake
The speed at which the lift unit travels along the rail
can be regulated via the friction brake on the car-
riage. Turn the brake adjustment screw clockwise to
increase resistance and counter-clockwise to reduce
resistance.
The following carriages are equipped with adjustable
friction brakes: Prod. No. 3126011 and 3126015.
Charging the Batteries
To obtain maximum battery life, you must charge the
batteries regularly. We recommend that the batteries
be charged whenever the lift is not in use. The bat-
teries are fully charged after approximately 8 hours.
When fully charged, batteries in good condition are
sufficient for approximately 60 lift cycles.
The charger is approved for use in damp areas.
1.
Make sure the emergency stop button is not
pressed in.
2.
Insert the handcontrol in the battery charger.
3.
Connect the charger to a 100-240 V wall
socket.
4.
The green light indicates that the charger is
connected to the power supply.
5.
The charging starts automatically and the
yellow light indicates that the batteries are
charging.
6.
When the batteries are fully charged, the
charger stops automatically and the yellow
light shuts off.
Charge Indicator
Multirall has two indicators for low battery charge:
• a buzzer sounds during lifting
• a diode lights up during lifting
The battery should be charged immediately when
either of these indicators is activated.
