registers is set to “=1”; otherwise they are ignored and

the system uses the physical values (see the

Number of revolutions [115-116]

registers) to calculate the position

information.

These registers set the custom number of distinguishable steps per revolution
that are output for the absolute singleturn position value.
You are allowed to set whatever integer value less than or equal to the

maximum number of physical steps per revolution

(see the

Singleturn

resolution [113-114]

registers).

If you enter an out-of-range value (i.e. greater than the maximum number of
physical steps per revolution), the value is not accepted.

To avoid counting errors, please check that:
