Camera Preparation
1. Install a fully charged Sony
InfoLithium
battery pack.
2. Open the camcorder’s LCD screen. Rotate the LCD screen 180 degrees so the
LCD screen is facing away from the camcorder. Close the LCD screen against the
camera body so the screen is facing outward.
3. The Flash option must be deactivated through the camera’s menu system to prevent it
from reflecting back into the lens.
a. Under the
“Menu”
setting, scroll to
“Photo Settings”
i. Choose the tab
“Flash Mode”
and turn to
“Off”

4. To enable the icons to be viewed on your monitor back use steps below:
Return to the camera’s
“My Menu”
screen and navigate to the tab labeled
“Menu”

If set correctly, the monitor will display the camcorders icons, remaining
battery time, remaining recording time, and other information. If icons are not present,
check the “V-Out/Panel Setting”.
