The Rove comes with three methods to prevent the elliptical from sliding
or rolling during exercise. You may wish to use multiple methods at a time,
especially when using a rolling office chair or when using the elliptical on
hard flooring such as wood, tile, concrete, or linoleum.
USING THE ROVE WITH THE ANTI-SLIP MAT
The Rove comes with a non-slip mat. The mat will help prevent the
elliptical from sliding across the floor during your workout.
1. Place the anti-slip mat on a solid, flat floor, free of obstructions.
2. Place the elliptical on the non-slip mat.
USING THE ROVE WITH THE WHEEL STOPPERS
While using the elliptical with a wheeled office chair, use the included wheel
stoppers to prevent the chair from rolling backwards when pedaling. To use
the wheel stoppers:
1. Place the wheel stoppers on the floor, with the notched-side facing up.
2. Insert the front wheels of the chair into the notches.
3. Position the elliptical in front of the chair.
4. Sit in the chair and begin pedaling to make sure the distance is correct.
Adjust if necessary. Your feet should easily reach the pedals while
sitting in the chair. Your knees should be slightly bent when the pedals
are furthest from you.

USING THE ROVE WITH THE TETHER STRAP
The Rove comes with a long tether strap which can be used to tether the
elliptical to a chair. Most users will not need to tether the Rove; pedaling
with downward force will prevent it from slipping on carpet and most other
surfaces. To tether the Rove when using it on a slippery surface:
1. Position the Rove in front of a chair.
2. Sit in the chair and begin pedaling. Your feet should easily reach the
pedals while sitting in the chair. Your knees should be slightly bent
when the pedals are furthest from you.
3. Unbuckle the tether strap and route it through the carrying handle and
around the chair as shown.
4. Pull the strap taut and re-connect the buckle.
5. Sit in the chair and begin pedaling to make sure the distance is correct.
Adjust if necessary.
