(Amplifier/Receiver continued)
9. RECEIVER
The receiver is installed inside the metal
enclosure. The receiver frequency must
match the frequency of the transmitter.
10. STRAP
This strap is adjustable to the length desired.
The strap can also be detached if needed.
11. POUCH
This pouch can hold the transmitter if neces-
sary for easy carrying.
* The amplifier/speaker and wireless can be
turned on and used while charging. You
may hear a very small buzz in the speaker
when you attempt to use the Patriot when
charging the battery. The Patriot can safely
be used in this manner.
1. POWER SUPPLY
This power supply needs to be plugged into
electricity for the charger to operate. The
opposite end of the power supply (the end
not plugged into electricity) needs to be
firmly plugged into the charger.
2. AMPLIFIER / RECEIVER PLUG
This plug needs to be inserted into the
amplifier/speaker to charge. It is labeled
AMP/SPEAKER. The CHARGING or
READY light will light up (see numbers 4
and 5) when this is plugged in.
3. TRANSMITTER PLUG
This plug needs to be inserted into the
transmitter for charging. It is labeled
TRANSMITTER.
4. CHARGING LIGHT
The CHARGING light will light up if the
amplifier/speaker and transmitter plug is
inserted in the appropriate place and the
batteries on either unit are not fully charged.
5. READY LIGHT
The READY light will appear when the
batteries on the amplifier/receiver and the
transmitter are completely charged. This is
a trickle charger so the batteries will not be
charging once the units are fully charged.
This will prevent overcharging of the batter-
ies and a longer battery life. Even though
it’s a trickle charge, it is still not recom-
mended to have charger plugged into the
amp/speaker or transmitter for more than
seven days.
