1. CHARGE THE BATTERIES IN BOTH THE

TRANSMITTER AND THE AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER

UNTIL THE CHARGER READS READY.

To properly charge the batteries follow

these instructions:

A) Plug the charger power supply into an

electrical outlet.

B) Check and make sure the battery is

plugged into the amplifier/speaker.

C) Insert the 9-volt rechargeable battery

(included in the system) into the

transmitter.

D) Plug the charger end labeled AMPLIFIER/

SPEAKER into the amplifer/speaker

unit. The CHARGING light should

appear on the charger. The charging light

on the amplifier/speaker should light up

as well.

E) Plug the end labeled TRANSMITTER

into the transmitter.

F) Charge the batteries until the READY

light lights up. Unplug the transmitter

and the amplifier/speaker plugs. You can

leave the power supply plugged into the

electrical outlet. No harm can be done

with the charger plugged into electricity

and the ends exposed.

2. SET THE VOLUME CONTROL ON THE BACK

OF THE AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER TO NUMBER 4

(11 o’clock position). This is a good starting

volume.

3. SET THE AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER TO THE

LOCATION WHERE THE UNIT WILL BROAD-

CAST FROM.

4. TURN THE AMPLIFIER/SPEAKER UNIT ON.

The LED in the switch should light up.

5. INSERT THE PLUG FOR THE COLLAR MIC

INTO THE TRANSMITTER.

6. PLACE THE COLLAR MIC AROUND YOUR

NECK

and adjust the microphone so that it is

no more than 3 inches from your mouth.

7. TURN THE TRANSMITTER SWITCH TO THE

ON POSITION.

A soft, audible "pop" may be

heard through the speaker. This is normal.

Turn the transmitter off to save

battery power if the user is not going to

operate the system for more than 15

minutes. Turn the transmitter to STANDBY

if the user is going to operate the system

within a 15 minute time period but currently

does not want to broadcast.

8. THE USER SHOULD NOW BE BROAD-

CASTING.

You can adjust the VOLUME

on the back of the amplifier/speaker to the

proper volume setting. At any time during

operation you can plug in an audio input such

as a compact disc player, tape deck, etc.
