Internal Filter Replacement
Note: For easy installation, lube new filters with a food safe lubricant like olive oil
to the outside o-ring. This will help the filters turn more easily.
The sticker on the filter
must be removed.

How to Change the Filters
→ Remove the filter cover for the filter you want to change.
→ Turn the filter to release it out of the socket.
→ Pull up on the filter to remove it from the ionizer.
→ Be sure to take the sticker off of the new filter.
→
Line up the filter tabs and press the filter down into the socket.
→ Turn the filter until it stops.
→
Replace the filter cover.
→ Reset the filter counter (see page 23).

a filter wrench which will ease the
installation process. An oil filter
wrench will also work.
