Stopping the engine:
IN EMERGENCY:
1.
Turn the engine switch to the “OFF” position.
NORMAL PROCEDURE:
1.
Move the throttle valve lever to the “SLOW” position.
2.
Turn the engine switch to the “OFF” position.
3.
Turn the fuel cock to the “OFF” position.
4.
Remove the water drain plug and drain the pump chamber.
5.
Remove the water filler cap and flush the pump chamber with
fresh, clean water.
6.
Allow water to completely drain from the pump chamber.
7.
Reinstall the water drain plug.
8.
Reinstall the water filler cap.
