Because specifications of the charger may change in the process of production, please read the charger
manual in detail before using.
Always charge he bike in a dry and clean place. Keep the charger dry and clean. The charger will become warm
during charging, but this is normal operation.
Precautions while Charging the Batteries
Using your power source incorrectly or leaving the charger connected to the bicycle and an outlet for extended
periods of time can result in a fire.
Always use the charger according to the instructions.
Do not use any charger other than the one that came with your Liberty Electric Bike. If you need another
charger, call the Customer Service Center and order another one.
Do not attempt to open or repair your charger. . The electronics contain high-pressure circuit, so please don't
dismantle by yourself.
Avoid any contact with water when charging your battery. If a plug or socket gets wet, dry it completely before
using.
Do not touch the two poles of the battery with your hands when the battery is removed for charging. Also the
two battery poles cannot be touched with any metal or other material that conducts electricity.
While charging, please keep it out of reach of children.
Prevent liquid, metal and metal fillings to permeate charger when use, and be careful from dropping and having
anything hit it, so as not to cause damage.
Do NOT put anything on top of the charger while charging. It must be well ventilated to allow all the heat
generated to dissipate.
When charging, if there is a peculiar smell or the temperature is too high, please stop charging immediately and
send to the local distributor or to the Customer Service Center (800) 806-7109.
•Insert the plug of the charger into the socket of the battery, and then insert the other plug into
an outlet. (The battery can be taken away from the bike to charge if more convenient.)
