5) Insert the charger’s plug into the socket of the battery.
Charging Method
•Put the female plug of the charger into charging socket of the battery box.
•Insert the male end of the plug into the outlet. The power is on when the indicator lamp of the charger is on. It
is charging when the indicator light is red. When the light turns from red to green, the battery is full. Fill for
about 2 hours after the light turns green. After the green light is on, the charger is in “trickle charge” and will
charge slowly and maintain the charge. It will not harm the battery if you leave it plugged in a whole day.
For safety and for long battery life, unplug the battery if you are going to be gone for more than a day.
•Please read the charger manual in detail before using the charger.
Precautions
•The two poles of the battery shouldn’t be touched with hands, when the battery is removed to recharge. Also,
don’t touch the poles with any metal object, so as to avoid a short circuit and/or an accident.
•While charging, put the battery in a secure place where children can't reach.
•Don’t use another brand of charger to charge the battery.
•The electric apparatus contains a high-pressure circuit, so please don't dismantle by yourself.
•Prevent
liquids, metal and metal filings from permeating the charger, and be careful to not drop or hit the
charger which could cause damage.
•Make sure not to put on any article on the charger while charging. Please use in a dry and ventilated
environment.
•When charging, if you smell a peculiar smell or the temperature is too high, stop charging immediately.
•If the battery isn’t used for a long time, it should be charged once per month. This will ensure the battery life.
DO NOT use in the state of low battery level.
•The charger will produce heat [less than
185°F
(85
°
C)]
in the course of using, so keep more than 16 inches
(0.4 m) from any flammable articles while using.
