When entering text, press the * (Shift) key to change letter

Entering Characters Using Predictive Text
Predictive Text Mode lets you enter text in your phone by
pressing keys just once per letter. (To select the
Predictive Text
mode when entering text, see "To change the character input
mode:" on page 39.)
Predictive Text analyzes the letters you enter using an
intuitive word database and provides words that match the
entry. (The word may change as you type.)
To enter a word using Predictive Text:

Select the Predictive Text input mode. (See “To change
