Proxy Server Address – IP address or FQDN of the IP Phone telephony host
server.
o
Proxy Port – Where the server listens for incoming requests and sends outgoing
responses
o
Display Name – Specifies a name to be used as part of the phone caller ID. The
Display Name assigned for Line1 will be displayed on the LCD display.
o
Name – Specifies the name to be used during registration; the name is generally
the extension telephone number, or the SIP User ID.
o
Authentication Name – Specifies the user ID for authentication of the phone.
o
Authentication Password – Specifies the user Password for authentication of the
phone.
o
Line Type – Select a line type of Private, Shared, or DSS Line.
o
BLA Primary Address – For registration and Authentication a BLA Line uses the
Name assigned for the Line as the User Name (SIP User ID). The BLA Primary
Address is used to identify the Name associated with the phone; this allows the
phone and server to determine the ‘Boss’ and ‘Secretary’ users of the BLA.
o
Extension for DSS – Specifies the extension number when the Line type is DSS;
do not enter an Extension number unless the Line type is DSS.
o
ACD Activity – Enables or Disables ACD activity on the Line. When both the Line
and Phone ACD Activity are enabled, the Agent status can be controlled with the
“ACD Agent” button assigned to the LIP Phone. The Agent may check-in/out and
set available/unavailable status. The Line LED will display the Agent status: Green
On=available, Red flashing=unavailable, and Red On=checked out.
o
ACD Agent Group IP – Specifies the ID of the ACD Group associated with the
Line.

General Parameters
o
Outbound Proxy Address – IP address or FQDN of outbound proxy server to use
in place of the Line-based Proxy Server to receive SIP requests.
o
Outbound Proxy Port – Port of the outbound proxy server, used in place of the
Line based Proxy settings
o
Backup Proxy Address – IP address or FQDN of the backup proxy server, used
when the connection with the primary proxy times-out.
o
Backup Proxy Port – Port of the backup proxy server
o
Domain – Specifies the Domain for SIP Service when the service provider desires
to use a specific SIP domain.
o
VMS Address – Specifies the address (IP or Phone) of the Voice Mail Server.
o
Proxy Registration – Enable SIP registration to the proxy; this parameter is
ignored if a SIP proxy server is not specified.
o
Registration Timer – SIP registration interval (seconds) between each registration
renewal to the SIP proxy server.
o
Local UDP Port – Specifies the UDP port used for sending and receiving.
o
Start RTP Port – Specifies the port to use for Real-time protocol (voice) packets.
o
Codec – Sets the priority for audio codecs.
