Using your phone as a

modem

Your GS500v can be used as a
modem for your PC, giving you
email and internet access even
when you don’t have any wired
connection. You can do this via the
USB cable or by Bluetooth.

Using the USB cable:

Ensure you have the LG PC Suite

installed on your PC.
Connect your GS500v and your

PC using the USB cable and
launch the LG PC Suite software.
Click

Internet Connection

your PC Suite. Then click

Add

and

select Specific Operator setting
required.

Click

Connect

and your PC will

connect via your GS500v.

Using Bluetooth:

Ensure Bluetooth is switched

and

Visible

for both your PC and

GS500v.
Pair your PC and GS500v so that

a passcode is required to connect
them.
Click

Internet Connection

your PC Suite. Then click

Add

and

select Specific Operator setting
