8.2 Large oven thermostat knob
Select the cooking temperature by turning the thermostat knob in
the direction shown in the diagram, to a setting between 50° and
250°C.
8.3 Small oven thermostat knob
Set to the required temperature, between 50° and 250°C. The oven
is switched on by turning the knob clockwise to any one of the
following functions except the oven light:

Oven Light
No element engaged
Upper and lower heating
element:
This way used the
upper and the lower elements
and is ideal for all type of
cooking. It is also suitable for
re-heating dishes prepared in
advance.
Grill element:
for grilling
meat, toasting or browning
dishes.
Wide grill element:
for
grilling meat, toasting or
browning dishes.
Recommended for large-sized
items.
Lower heating element:
this function is used when blind-
baking pastry or cooking pizza.
It may also be used to finish off
quiches or flans to ensure the
base pastry is cooked enough.
