Connect the digital set-top box to H
HD DM MII IIN N*, H HD DM MII//D DV VII
IIN N 1 1*, H HD DM MII IIN N 2 2* or H HD DM MII IIN N 3 3* jack on the TV.
No separate audio connection is necessary.
HDMI supports both audio and video.

Turn on the digital set-top box.
(Refer to the owner’s manual for the digital set-top box.)

Select the H HD DM MII*, H HD DM MII1 1*, H HD DM MII2 2* or H HD DM MII3 3* input
source on the TV using the IIN NP PU UT T button on the remote
control.

If the HDMI cables don’t support HDMI version
1.3, it can cause flickers or no screen display. In
this case use the latest cables that support
HDMI version 1.3.

HDMI mode supports PCM audio format only.
G G If the Audio setting is set to Dolby/DTS/Bitstream
in some DVDP/STB, make sure to change the set-
ting to PCM.
