Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and
keypad are backlit after any key press is made.
To change the backlight setting:

From the main menu, highlight

The greeting can be up to eleven characters and is displayed on the first line of
your phone’s display screen in standby mode.
To change your greeting:

Alert Notification
To enable or disable alert sounds:

Select a feature by highlighting it and press .

to alert you when you exit or enter your
wireless network.

Messages
to alert you when you receive a voicemail, page or

to hear a beep once a minute when you are on a call.
(The beep is not audible to the other party.)
䊳 Call Connect
to alert you when your outgoing call has been connected.

phone’s Silent Mode allows you to mute all sounds without turning your
phone off.
To change your phone’s Silent Mode:
