Replace vice (T) on safety cable (S) and adjust
length of safety cable (S) by pulling on the safety
cable (S). Adjust slack in safety cable (S) to a
hand’s length and then tighten screw and nut on
vice (T) securely. The loop at the end of the safety
cable (S) should just fit over the threads on the
wood screw (not included) used to secure it.
Test safety cable (S) by pulling on loose end of
cable with pliers. If the safety cable (S) slips, then
screw and nut on vice (T) must be set tighter.

2. Find a secure attachment point (wood ceiling joist
recommended) and secure safety cable (S) using
a heavy-duty wood screw, washer and lock
washer (none included).
NOTE:
Extra cable slack can be left in ceiling
area.
