Printing beyond the basics

Printing handouts

You can conserve paper by printing handouts or multiple page images
on a single sheet of paper.

To print multiple page images on a single sheet, follow the
instructions below:

Load up to 100 sheets of paper against the right side of the
automatic feeder.

Glossary

Handouts

A method of distributing
many pages of informa-
tion in a reduced form.

Page Image

A page image equals one
printed page. For exam-
ple, the handout graphic
shows four page images
(or four pages of text)
printed on a single sheet
of paper.

Squeeze the release tab and the
media guide together, and slide the
media guide to the edge of the
paper.

Insert paper with the print
side facing you.

Note

When printing handouts,
you can only use Letter
(8.5 x 11.0 in.) or A4
(210 x 297 mm) paper.
