When you have several devices on a SCSI chain, you may need to adjust the SCSI ID selector setting located
on the back of the scanner (See Figure 2-3). The SCSI ID selector is a dip switch allowing you to assign
an unique ID number from 0 to 7. If the ID number is duplicated with an existing SCSI device, the scanner
may not work properly.
Note that the scanner contains two SCSI devices. One is the scanning unit itself, the other is the control
panel on the front of the scanner. The SCSI ID selector for the scanning unit located at the left side
while the SCSI ID selector for the control panel located at the right side.
1. SCSI ID # selector of the scanning unit (factory setting: 6)
2. Terminator ON/OFF Switch (factory setting: ON)
3. SCSI ID # selector of the control panel (factory setting: 0)
