Scanner flatbed cover removal

Remove the rear cover. See

“Rear cover removal” on page 4-5

Disconnect the ADF cable from J3 on the controller card.

Lift and remove the flatbed cover from the MFP.

Scanner top removal

Remove rear cover. See

“Rear cover removal” on page 4-5

Open the lower right cover, and disconnect the ADF cable from J3 on the controller card.

Remove flatbed cover.

Remove operator panel. Go to

“Operator panel assembly removal” on page 4-30

Remove three screws (A) on the front of the scanner top.

Remove two screws (B) located on the rear of the scanner top.

Remove the scanner top.
