Note:  The  reference  run  should  be  created  and  recorded  whenever  the  duration  or 
amplitude of the measurement pulse are changed. (See section 6.4 i 0). 

6.8  “Zakres pomiarowy Uzak=” (Measuring range Uzak=) entry 

The range of voltage measured by the fault locator is ±2047 mV. If you enter 100 mV, 
the measuring range will be set to ±100 mV. Optimum setting: ± 500 mV. This setting 
can produce a clear image of the leak immediately after it occurs (after it is recorded) 
and  in  the  initial  stages  of  its  development.  The  shape  of  the  reflected  pulse  will  be 
represented  within  the  range  of  voltage  thresholds  determining  the  measuring  range. 
Extending the voltage measuring range will affect duration of the measurement cycle.

Use this function to display the list of entries of the Kalibracja (Calibration) function 
complete with all defined values of parameters and quantities. 

6.10  “Kod PIN=” (PIN code=) entry 

A  PIN  code  will  be  needed  to  access  the  Kalibracja  (Calibration)  option.  The  Kod 
PIN=
 (PIN code=) entry is used to set and record the code. (See section 0).
