3.3 - Electrical and electromagnetic phenomena
The VARMECA conforms to electromagnetic compatibility directive 89/336/EEC, modified by
92/31/EEC, provided it is fitted with the EMC filter option.
3.4 - Description of cables and protections
• When using a circuit-breaker, it must be a motor circuit-breaker.
• Comply with size of protection fuses.
• Cable size may vary according to current national standards, which take
precedence over the values given in the table below without exception.
• These tables should never be used instead of current standards.
Note : The value of the mains current is a typical value which depends on the source
impedance. The higher the impedance, the lower the current.
