Where the drive is incorporated into a system with rated input current exceeding 100A, the higher emission limits of EN 61800-3 for the second
environment are applicable, and no filter is then required.

Operation without an external filter is a practical cost-effective possibility in an industrial installation where existing levels of electrical noise are likely
to be high, and any electronic equipment in operation has been designed for such an environment. This is in accordance with EN 61800-3 in the
second environment, with restricted distribution. There is some risk of disturbance to other equipment, and in this case the user and supplier of the
drive system must jointly take responsibility for correcting any problem which occurs.
