Switching Ports
The NE10032 contains the following switching ports:
 Thirty-two 100 GbE Quad Small Form Pluggable 28 (QSFP28) ports
The switching ports are described in the following sections. For information about
ports on the management panel, see
“Management Panel” on page 23 .
For details on the basic types of connectors that can be installed in the switch’s port

QSFP28 Ports
Thirty-two 100 GbE QSFP28 ports are located on the front panel.
A QSFP28 port can be configured into one 40 GbE port, four 10 GbE or 25 GbE
breakout ports, or two 50 GbE breakout ports.
By default, the NE10032 has its QSFP28 ports 1 to 32 configured at 100 GBit/s.
QSFP28 LEDs
Status LEDs for the QSFP28 ports are described in the following table.
