Remove the LCD module

Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed. Also make sure the antenna cables have been
disconnected from the Wi-Fi card and taken out of the cable guiders.

“Remove the lower case” on page 33

“Remove the battery pack” on page 34

“Remove the storage drive (for selected models)” on page 39

“Remove the memory module” on page 42

“Remove the M.2 solid-state drive” on page 36

“Remove the Wi-Fi card” on page 44

“Remove the speakers” on page 50

“Remove the subwoofer (for Lenovo Legion Y740–17)” on page 47

“Remove the heat sink and fan assembly” on page 48

“Remove the I/O board” on page 51

“Remove the system board” on page 54

Step 1. Use a prying tool to remove the strip cover.
