*For enclosures equipped with a single ESM (ESM), the lower ESM slot within the chassis is empty, and must be
covered with an ESM blank to allow optimum air flow through the enclosure during operation.

NOTE:
Storage D1012/D1024 Storage Enclosures support hot-plug replacement of redundant ESMs,
fans, power supplies, and ESMs. Hot-add of drive enclosures is also supported.
