CX34 upflow coils and all Lennox air handlers (except CB26UH “R”) are
shipped with a factory installed TXV. In most cases, no change out of the valve
is needed.
If a change out is required it will be listed in the “TXV SUBSTITUTIONS” table.
The correct TXV must be ordered and field installed. C33 coils and all horizontal
and downflow coils are shipped without a TXV. The TXV must be ordered and
field installed.
