Lock In 2nd stage HP by Outdoor Temp
default Off (heat
pump stage 2 operates normally). Use this setting to lock in
the 2nd stage compressor when the outdoor temperature is at
or less than the LOCK TEMP set point. Scroll to Lock In 2nd
stage HP by Outdoor Temp; press
edit
. Use arrows to select
a temperature between 40 and 55ºF. Press
save
.
Using the Diagnostics features
NOTE − To run diagnostics and insure system works properly
(i.e. to see the most of the meaningful information), the sys-
tem should be running. Set the thermostat so that it will initiate
a demand for cooling, heating, dehumidification, humidifica-
tion, or continuous fan operation.
If you need to run diagnostics to analyze the system, press
the
diagnostics
tab. The Select device to run diagnostics"
screen (figure 33) will open.

Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the list of items found
on the left of the screen. Then press
select
. The right side of
the screen shows which item is selected (figure 34). Use
start
to begin the process. The screen will show DIAGNOSTICS
IN PROGRESS..." briefly, then change to show the list of val-
ues and conditions discovered.
Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the information and
take note of any found to be out of operating range.
Press
done
when finished with the information. Select anoth-
er device to diagnose or use
EXIT
if finished.
