11.- FREE COOLING

This option takes advantage of external conditions for cooling mode.

Freecooling is enabled when outdoor temperature is 1ºC lower than indoor temperature; when the former is:

- < 10ºC, the compressors are deactivated and the air intake gate fully opened in order to refresh with outdoor air only (sufficient under 

these conditions).

- >10ºC, the air intake gate opens and delays the compressors, which turn on only if there would be insufficient outdoor fresh air 

to achieve the comfort setpoint.

The illustration below shows freecooling regulation.

With free cooling

OPTION

To get a constant air renewal, when freecoling conditions are satisfied, the damper is mantained opened partially (20%), according to 

the following values.

9= only for heating mode.
