WARNING

• Always use oven gloves or
something similar when handling
the hot pan and/or basket.
• When you take the pan out of the
appliance some steam may escape.
Keep your hands and face away
from it.
• Please note: never press the basket
release when you are holding the
pan with the basket in your hand.
The pan will fall down uncontrolla-
bly!
2. Remove the pan from the appliance
with the basket placed inside and
place it onto a heat-resistant,
non-slip, firm, even surface.
3. Check if the food is fully cooked.
If it is not fully cooked, put the
pan back into the appliance and
set it to cook for a further couple
of minutes.
4. To take out the cooked food…
… press the basket release. The pan
comes loose and you can take the
basket out. Tip the food into a bowl
or similar container.
… never tip the food into a bowl
straight from the pan with the
basket still inserted.
Fat or oil which has dripped down
and accumulated in the pan would
be poured out too.
… use tongs or something similar
when handling large or delicate
pieces of food. Do not use any uten-
sils made of metal to remove the
food. This could damage the non-
stick coating of the appliance. Use
utensils made of wood or silicone.

You can now cook another portion
of food, or...
... let the appliance cool down.
Remove the mains plug from
the wall socket. The operation
indicator light goes out.
Make sure that no one touches
the hot surfaces of the appliance
while it is cooling down.
5. After it has cooled down, clean
the appliance as described in the
section titled “Cleaning”.
Using a preset cooking program
Select one of the 8 preset cooking
programs for your food (see chapter
“At a glance” in the section “Operating
buttons”).
1. Press the program selection button
until the icon of the chosen
program is shown on the display.
