2. Changing the saw blade (Fig 28 to 31)
CAUTION:
- The saw blade can become very hot during working process. Before replacing, allow the blade to cool down.
- When mounting and replacing the saw blade, it is recommended to wear protective gloves.
- Raise the sawing arm to its highest position.
- Loosen and remove the cover plate lower screw and the linkage bar screw (Fig 28).
- Lift and hold up the rotating blade guard (

) (Fig 29).
- Press the spindle lock button (

) (Fig 30), and then rotate the blade until the spindle locks.
- Use the 6 mm hex key provided to loosen and remove the blade bolt (

) (Fig 31).
Loosen in a clockwise direction as the blade screw has a left hand thread
.
- Remove the flat washer, outer flange (

) and the blade.
- Before reinstalling a blade, first clean out all chips or foreign matter adhering to the shaft, blade or flanges.
- Wipe a drop of oil onto the inner and the outer flanges where they contact the blade.
- Fit the new blade onto the spindle taking care that the inner flange sits behind the blade.
Make sure that the cutting direction of the blade teeth (direction of the arrow on the blade) matches with
the rotation direction of the machine (direction of the arrow on the blade fixed guard)
.
- Replace the outer flange (

).
- Depress the spindle lock button (

) and replace the flat washer and blade bolt (
32
).
- Use the 6 mm hex key to tighten the blade bolt securely (
tighten in an anti-clockwise direction
).
- Lower the rotating blade guard (
2
) in position and tighten the fixing screw.
- Put back the linkage bar in position and tighten the fixing screw.
- Check that the rotating blade guard (
2
) operates correctly and covers the blade as the sawing arm is lowered.
- Connect the saw to the power supply and run the blade to make sure that it is operating correctly.
3. Changing the carbon brushes (Fig 32 & 33)
The Motor employs carbon brushes which are consumable parts. When they become worn to or near the “wear
limit”, it could result in motor trouble. The power tool must then be sent to an after-sales service agent.
When you have to replacement the carbon brushes by yourself, please proceed as following:

Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same time
.

Use only identical carbon brushes
.
- Undo the two screws and remove the carbon brush cover (

) (Fig 32).
- Pull the coil springs (

) out and take out the worn carbon brushes.
- Insert the new carbon brushes, and put the coil springs (
34
) back.
- Reinstall the motor cover (

), while being careful to ensure it does not pinch the lead wire, and secure it firmly
with the two screws.
4. Changing the table insert (Fig 34)
Change the table insert (

) before it is too worn: scrap wood may fall into the sawing table arm and block the
blade and/or cause damage.
- Loosen the 6 Phillips screws M4x12 and remove the table insert (
35
).
- Clean the sawing table arm: remove scrap wood and vacuum sawdust and dust.
- Place the new table insert, taking care to position it properly.
- Secure it with the 6 Phillips screws.
5. Changing the blade guard
The blade guard (

) is essential for your safety; it is important that it is in good condition.
- It is necessary to remove the carrier to perform the blade guard change: please contact your authorized repairing
center.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation in accordance with national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life
must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility.
