8.4.4 Make the Photocell Active
WARNING
Block the cow traffic to the COSMIX S before you do this procedure.
Note:
Only applicable for Qwes - H/HR readers.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu, select 'Settings' and push button [ ].
2. Select 'Photocell active' and push [ ].
3. Use the buttons [ ] or [ ] to change the value.
4. Push button [OK] to confirm.
After a few seconds you return to the menu 'Settings'.
8.4.5 Calibrate the Valves
WARNING
Block the cow traffic to the COSMIX S before you do this procedure.
Use the E-Link manual controller for this procedure.
1. In the main menu, select 'Setup' and push button [ ].
2. Select 'Calibrate Valves' and push button [ ].
3. Select 'Valve' and push button [ ].
4. Push the buttons [ ] or [ ] to select the number of the dosing
unit (page 4-4) and push [ ].
5. Select 'Portions' and push button [ ].
6. Push the buttons [ ] or [ ] to select 10 feed portions.
7. Push button [ ] to confirm.

9. Use a balance to weigh the feed.
10. Calculate the portion size (total weight/10).
11. Set the correct portion size (page 8-5).
