7.8 Adjustments in the T4C Software
7.8.1 Add the Cosmix P to T4C
Use T4C for this procedure.
1. Make sure all feed types are available in T4C.
2. In the navigation bar select: ‘ Configuration' > 'Devices ’ .
3. Select tab 'Cosmix'.
4. Click on the button [Add].
5. Fill out the form.
• The device name is the name of the device. Use a clear name.
• The device address must be within a certain range.
• Select the location.
•
Enter the serial number.
•
Select the number of feed types.
•
Select the feed type by each number.
•
Select 'Robot Feed' to prevent a cow being fed on the concentrate
feeder when the cow is near to be milked.
6. Click on button [Save].
7.8.2 Add a Feed Type
Use T4C for this procedure.
1. Go to the page Data Entry > Libraries.
2. Select tab 'Feed types'.
3. Click on button [Add].
4. Fill out the form.
5. Click on button [Save].
Create feed types for all feed types presented in the concentrate feeder,
even when they are the same as on the milking robot. This way,
automatic feed tables can control the distribution between the milking
robot and the concentrate feeder.
For clarity, use clear and recognizable (abbreviated) names that have
both the device and feed name/ingredients. For example: "RB1 Energy
Concentrate" for energy concentrate also supplied in robot 1.
7.8.3 Set the Feed Speed
A 'Feed speed' of 500 g/min is recommended.
