4.1.2 Adjusting the drawbar
Attention!
The height adjustment and thus the adjustment of the hitch may
be changed only by the manufacturer or an authorised special
workshop.
Place the machine on a horizontal ground.
Turn out the support foot so far that the machine stands
horizontally (axle plates horizontal, support foot vertical).
Measure the height of the drawbar on the tractor.
Measure the height of the hitch on the machine.
(Figure 11) Using the dimensions stated in Figure 10 adjust
the drawbar to the pair of holes approximating the desired
value most closely. Whenever the safety nuts are loosened
they must be replaced.
(Figure 12) After alignment of the drawbar head, position the
hitch horizontally. Loosen the fastening screws of the hitch
and correct the position of the hitch by means of the
threaded rod.
Firmly tighten all fastening screws and nuts. (Tightening
torques: see Figure 11 and Figure 12)
(Figure 19) Install the drive shaft holder in the upper or lower
position (dependent on the drawbar position).
4.1.3 Tow hitch version
In case of tractor tow hitch coupling of the machine the
following dimensions must always be observed:
